According to Chapter 32 of the Hong Kong Company Laws, a limited liability company registered in Hong Kong must appoint a company secretary to perform the company's legal responsibilities. Their responsibilities include reporting changes to the company's structure, shareholders and directors to the Companies Registry. They are also required to prepare company meeting agendas for the board of directors, prepare for annual general meetings and provide professional consultation and advice on relevant statutory regulations.
